For simplicity, gather all of your tagging supplies along with your items to be priced in one area.
You will need the following:
The better your clothing looks, the better it sells! Take time to wash and iron your clothing. (No stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc.)
Our easy computer system allows keyboard OR voice entry! To enter items, log in to consignor portal using consignor number and password received upon registering. Select correct category for each item then enter description and price .
The more detailed your item description, the better. If tags fall off, this is the only way to get your item sold. A tag that says, "Crewcuts chambray button-down shirt" is much more likely to be found than a tag that simply says, "Shirt."
Print tags at home on WHITE CARDSTOCK or email to a printer like Office Depot.
Cut and pin tags on each item. You can print tags any time until your scheduled drop-off time.
Attach tags with safety pins to the upper right front of clothes (when looking at the item). If you use a tagging gun, ONLY TAG IN A SEAM on the right side of the clothing. (See below)
Hang clothing pieces to the top of the hanger facing left (like a question mark shape. See below. )
Pin all pants to the TOP of the hanger. Do not use pant clip hangers. Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together. Pants, skirts, and shorts must be pinned to the hanger NOT THE SHIRT. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them. (See below)
